Sportswoman of the Year

Congratulations to Annalise Murphy (HSD, 2002-08) who has been awarded The Irish Times/Sport Ireland Sportswoman of the Year title for 2016.  In August 2016 she won an Olympic silver medal representing Team Ireland in the Laser Radial dinghy class following a highly competitive medal race in Rio de Janeiro.  It is the first time that either distinction has been achieved in the history of the school.  We wish our distinguished past pupil every success in future competitions.
