Rowing Ireland national victory

Congratulations to pupils at The High School who defeated Regina Mundi College, Cork to win the national final of the 12th Irish Schools Regatta Junior 16 4+ race organized by Rowing Ireland in Limerick.  The victorious crew consisted of Aine Ryan (4K), Daisy O'Toole (4K), Alison Daly (3R), Sarah Daly (3W), with Hannah Vance Cronin (4G) acting as coxswain.  In addition, The High School was represented by Alison Daly (3R) and Sarah Daly (3W) in the final of the Junior 15 2X race which resulted in second place for HSD following a highly competitive race with Coleraine Grammar School.  We extend best wishes for success to all our pupils as they compete for further honours at national level at these age grades.
