Railway Union tournament victory

Congratulations to The High School Senior Girls' Sevens Rugby team who retained the Railway Union Senior Girls’ Sevens Cup by defeating a team representing St. Louis High School and Muckross College 30-25 in a tightly contested final.

In the course of the tournament The High School senior team played a number of games and secured a place in the Senior Cup final by defeating St. Raphaela’s Secondary School and Loreto College.  We were delighted that Emma Murphy (6TH), Elizabeth Gageby (5GF), and Megan O’Brien (3R) were noted for their strong performances and included in the Railway Union Dream Team which consisted of the best players competing in the tournament.

Congratulations to all members of The High School senior team on winning the tournament for a second consecutive year.
