Model United Nations success
Congratulations to seventeen pupils from The High School who spoke in eight different committees whilst representing Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Ireland during the recent two-day TERMUN conference. There were productive debates on topics including child labour, weapon trade, and global terrorism. We are delighted that Chloe Holmes (4M) and Katie Moore (5EB) won Distinguished Delegate Awards. In addition, eleven senior pupils representing Norway, Spain, and Togo travelled to London for the 36th Annual Royal Russell School International MUN Conference where they spent four busy days engaging in fruitful debate in various committees. In the General Assembly topics ranging from the decriminalization of homosexuality to military build-up in the South China Sea were discussed. Congratulations to Chloe Holmes (4M) who won two Highly Commended Delegate Awards in separate committees at Royal Russell during this conference.
