Ireland Olympic hockey selection

Congratulations to Shane O'Donoghue (HSD, 2008-2011) who was selected to compete with the first Ireland hockey team to qualify for the Olympic Games since 1908.  He played in matches against India, The Netherlands, and Germany before scoring two goals against Canada and another against Argentina.  We wish our past pupil every success as he competes for further honours at international level.
