Goethe-Institut scholarship award

Congratulations to Rachel Ferguson (4M) who has been awarded a scholarship by the Goethe-Institut and the Department of Education and Skills.  A small number of pupils were selected for the award based on their performance in the higher level German paper at Junior Certificate.  The scholarship will allow Rachel to benefit from a range of cultural outings whilst attending school and living with a host family in Germany.  She was one of 12 candidates who sat the Junior Certificate higher level German paper (out of a total of 8103 across the country) to have been chosen for the honour.
