Foundation Day service 2020

It is exactly 150 years since The High School was officially established by the Governors of the Schools Founded by Erasmus Smith, Esquire on 1^st October 1870. 

We are observing the significance of Foundation Day 2020 by broadcasting a service of Choral Evensong to the whole school community at 5.30 pm.  You can access the service by clicking on the link here.  The Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson, Archbishop of Dublin and Bishop of Glendalough, Primate of Ireland and Metropolitan will preside and preach (by kind permission of The Very Revd Dr William Morton, Dean and Ordinary) in the presence of the Chapter of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.  The music will be directed by the Organist and Master of the Choristers, Mr Stuart Nicholson, and sung by the Lay Vicars Choral of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.
