Feis Ceoil success
Congratulations to Luke Kehoe-Roche (6JC) who was awarded first prize in the Senior Violin competition at the Feis Ceoil; recent past pupil Claire Austen (HSD, 2009-2015) was awarded second prize in the same category. Congratulations are also due to Fiachra de hOra (4BK) and Ralph Lee (6CR) who were awarded first and second prizes, respectively, in the Junior Viola competition. In addition, Clara Lee (2H) was highly commended in the Junior Violin competition and was awarded second prize in the Rhoda Coghill Cup duet competition. Nathan Timmins (2R) was commended in the Junior French Horn competition. Finally, Rachel Low (1RW) was commended for Pianoforte solo and very highly commended for her performance in the Rhona Marshall Cup (piano repertoire).
