East Leinster Athletics Championship

Congratulations to the following HSD pupils who were awarded medals at the East Leinster Athletics Championship:

Bronze

Sadhbh Byrne (3P), Harry-Ted Ikolo (3MC), and David Aigboboh (6AF) won Bronze in the Intermediate Girls Long Jump, Intermediate Boys Shot Putt, and Senior Boys 100 metre competitions, respectively.

Silver

Brendan Solarin (3T) won Silver in the Intermediate Boys Long Jump.

Gold

Daniel Martin (3J), Aidan O'Connor (2F), Jake Priestley (3OS), and Sean Aigboboh (5H) won Gold in the Intermediate Boys 200 metres, the Intermediate Boys Mile, the Intermediate Boys High Jump, and the Senior Boys 100 metre competitions, respectively.  In addition, David Aigboboh, Sean Winslow (both 6AF), Samuel Maxwell (5T), and Sean Aigboboh (5H) won Gold in the Senior Boys 4 x 100 metre relay competition.

Congratulations to all pupils who were selected to represent The High School at the East Leinster Athletics Championship.  We should like to offer our best wishes for further success to pupils who qualified to compete at the Leinster Schools Track and Field Championship later this month.
