All Ireland hockey championship success

Congratulations to the Senior 1 boys' hockey team who competed in the All Ireland Schools (Boys) Hockey Championship for the third successive year.  The High School defeated Kilkenny College and Royal and Prior Comprehensive School before drawing with Wallace High School to qualify for the semi-final stage for the first time in the history of the school.  We warmly congratulate the team on the significance of its achievements to date and wish all members of the squad every success in the forthcoming league and cup competitions.
