Diversity and Inclusion Statement

The High School is an inclusive and welcoming learning community where all pupils, staff, and families are valued and respected in accordance with our Mission and Ethos Statements.  We celebrate diversity in all its forms and are committed to promoting equality, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for everyone associated with the school community.

We strive to ensure that every individual feels safe, supported, and empowered to express their identity while developing their full potential through participation in school life.  We affirm and support members of the LGBTQ+ community while recognising and respecting the diversity of family types, backgrounds, cultures, and traditions represented in our school.

The High School also actively works to ensure that its policies and procedures reflect and promote a culture of equality of opportunity, participation, and representation for all members of the school community in accordance with the principles of the Education Act 1998, the Equal Status Acts 2000–2018, and the Department of Education and Youth’s commitment to inclusion and wellbeing.
