Central and easily accessible

A majority of the pupils in the school comes from the surrounding areas, e.g. Rathgar, Terenure, Rathfarnham, Churchtown, Dundrum, Ballinteer, Templeogue, Ranelagh, Milltown, Harold's Cross.  The school is also easily accessible to pupils from further afield, being centrally located and on or near so many vital transport routes.  We have many pupils from areas as distant as Manor Kilbride, Blessington, Celbridge, Lucan, Clondalkin, Dun Laoghaire, Glenageary, Blackrock, Greystones, Drumcondra, Glasnevin, Naas, Stepaside, etc.

We are easily accessible from the M50 via Templeogue or Rathfarnham.

The LUAS station at Milltown Bridge is a few short minutes walk along by the Dodder to the back entrance to the school at Dodder Park.

Private West Dublin bus

The High School operates a private bus service from the West Dublin area each morning during school terms and back each afternoon after school. The cost of the service is subsidised by the Erasmus Smith Trust and parents also pay a charge per term per child. The route is varied each year according to what suits the maximum number of families but the buses usually serve the following areas:
