Transition Year Croatia trip
On 11 April some very excited 4th years
gathered at Dublin Airport waiting to board the plane to Croatia.
On our first day we went to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and had a
tour of the old town and some time to explore the city. Our second day
was an early start with a long bus journey to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We
had a guided tour of Mostar and a visit to Medugorje. Our third day was
a trip to Montenegro, with a stop in Kotor before heading up the
mountain for lunch in the small village of Cekanje. Our next stop was
Cetinje where we visited a small museum. Our last stop in Montenegro was
Budva. We were very lucky with the weather and some of us had a
refreshing dip in the Adriatic Sea before heading to the bus. Our last
day was spent shopping in Dubrovnik before heading to the airport to
catch our flight home.
On behalf of the group we would like to thank Mr Wright, Mr McBride, Mr
Griffin, Ms Levis and Ms Jones for taking time out of their Easter
holidays to bring us to Croatia. We all had an amazing time! Thank you!!
