Transition Year Rock Pop Show
Congratulations to all who worked so hard to produce the Transition
Year rock pop show at the end of last term, and especially to Ms Bourke.
Important - calendar change
Due to the rugby cup match on Monday 14 January, the staff meetings
scheduled for that day will now take place on Tuesday 15 January. School
will close at 2.35 p.m. on Tuesday and there will be no after school
activities that day.
Forty Foot Swim
Well done to all the brave swimmers, staff and pupils from Transition
Year, who dipped at the Forty Foot at the end of last term, in order to
raise money for the Friends of St Luke's Cancer Hospital. The total
raised is not yet available but we will let you know when it is all in
and counted.
Model United Nations
Any students in 4th or 5th year who have not already signed up, but
are interested in taking part in the M.U.N. from March 18th to March
21st, please see Ms Rellis in C1 before Friday 11 January.
-
All?
-
like particles of sand,
-
in a perfect dark quilt,
-
in the billions they do stand
-
glowing bright as they are built
-
-
like a black balloon,
-
expanding ever more,
-
every grain its own eventual doom,
-
glowing with old ancient lore.
-
-
Countless colours, non-colours and shades,
-
countless possibilities,
-
the non-dying brightness never fades,
-
nor does the darkness die.
