Junior Boys Hockey League
Winners!
On Wednesday 29th March the Junior boys
hockey team successfully overcame the challenge of Sutton Park School in
the final of the Junior Hockey League.
High School took a deserved first half lead when Ciaran Collins scored
directly from a rebounded short corner.
Sutton Park hit back in the second half, clinically converting two short
corners. As the game neared its conclusion Andy Gray scored an
equalising goal to level the game and extra time looked certain.
|
However, Shane Gould got a deflection to
score an over time winner from the last short corner of the game.
The JCT Panel were delighted with their victory and this League Final
win finished off their season in style. Well done!
We also congratulate the Under 14 who beat St Andrew's 4-1 in the league
semi-final and the Seniors who beat St Kilian's 3-2 to finish second in
the league. |

Daffodil Day
We are very pleased to say that we raised
€605 on Friday 24th March a.k.a. Daffodil Day. Every year we work hard
selling silk daffodils and pins. This year 6W kindly donated lovely
daffodil pastel drawings. They were a great success. We would like thank
you to: to all those who bought the daffodils and 6W for donating the
drawings. Finally thanks to Mrs King for organising the day, and to Amy
, Aimee , Sophie , Sarah-Kate and Catriona for selling the daffodils. We
hope next year will be an even bigger success.
