Operation Christmas Child
Transition Year pupils were recently involved in collecting shoe
boxes full of Christmas presents for children who would otherwise not
receive any. Above are some of the Transition Year students preparing
the boxes for transport to Eastern Europe, Russia, Armenia, Africa and
other destinations. Well done!
Holly Day
Holly Day is the ISPCC's annual fundraiser. Although
this is Holly Day's 20th year, it is the first year that the school has
supported this brilliant cause.
ISPCC exists to ensure that all children are given
the opportunity to experience love and happiness, to stop discrimination
and exclusion of children and to end cruelty and injustice to children.
On Tuesday 4 December the library committee will be
selling holly badges in aid of this worthy cause. Your support would be
greatly appreciated.
Prize Day Photographs
The photographs taken by the school on Prize Day are now taken in
digital format. Many of them will be published in the Erasmian &
Diocesan Times. Rough proof prints of photographs which came out well
are available from the office free of charge. If you would then like a
copy of the computer file to print a high quality copy yourself, please
ask Mrs H. Kane in the office.
Leinster hockey interprovincial selections
Congratulations to Susan McRann and Eve Roseingrave who have been
selected for the Leinster Under 16 girls hockey team. They will play in
the Inter Provincial tournament in Galway in December.
