Dublin Simon Community Fun Run
Each year the school enters a team in the
sponsored fun run to raise funds for the Simon Community which is an
organisation which helps homeless people in the city. Last year we
raised more money than any other school and are hoping to do the same
again this year, but we need lots of volunteers and sponsors! The fun
run takes place in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 8 October at 2.30 p.m. and
sponsorship forms are available from Mr McClure (A4).

Visit from Japan
Last week, we entertained two visitors
from Japan, Professor Minoru Kishimoto and his assistant, Asaya Kawabata

They were visiting Ireland from the Social Studies Department of Shiga

examine the concept of Civic, Social and Political Education and to view
CSPE action projects. |
