SMS Text system - attention all parents!
The system will be fully operational by
the end of this week. It will be used for emergency messages and to
check pupil absence. In the case of pupil absence, parents are still
requested to telephone the school office on the morning of the first day
of absence. In the event that we do not hear from you texts will be sent
to the mobiles of both parents/guardians where applicable, so
parents/guardians will need to liaise with each other about who contacts
the school office to explain the pupil absence. You will not be able to
reply to the texts. The school will accept no responsibility for
misdelivery. If you feel that the mobile number you have registered with
us may have changed, please write to the office or e-mail the correct
number(s). A test message will be sent to all mobiles registered with us
on Friday 27 February. If you do not receive it, please write or e-mail
your mobile numbers to the office.
Old mobile phones?
Please continue to bring in any old
mobile phones you may have, in aid of the Habitat for Humanity house
building team travelling to Zambia at Easter. Thanks to all those who
have donated so far. Maoliosa Nugent (4th year)
