Team Maths Quiz
Well done to the Maths team of Chris
Blair, Tim Harris, Rachel O'Byrne and Holly Warren (6th year) who
finished second after a tie-breaker in the Team Maths quiz. About 40
teams from all over Dublin were competing in this year's competition
held in St Andrew's College, so finishing runners-up was quite an
achievement!

New summer uniform
When the date for summer uniform is
announced (usually early April), it will consist this year (on a trial
basis) of plain white open neck polo/aertex shirt/blouse, with no logos,
stripes, decorations etc, long or short sleeved. Shirts may be worn
inside or outside trousers/skirt during the summer uniform period. The
tie will not be worn during the period of summer uniform. School jumper
will be optional, also during that period. There will not be an option
to continue wearing winter uniform. Plain white polo/aertex shirts may
be purchased at our uniform suppliers or at any major outlet. Winter
uniform will resume at a date to be announced during the autumn and will
remain unchanged. Students should not wear the same shirts for sports as
during school hours, for reasons of hygiene.

Feed the Pig
Daisy, our pig, has gone on holiday.
She'll be donating the €251 worth of change in her stomach to Barnardo's,
a charity which looks after the welfare of children and their families.
Both Barnardo's and Daisy thank everyone involved. So, oink to you, and
we'll see Daisy again next Christmas! Thanks again to the Library
Committee.
