Ski trip
On 28 December, 47 students set out on
the long flight to Boston. A two hour bus journey brought us to our
hotel in New Hampshire. We were up early the next day for our first day
of skiing or snowboarding. Everyone progressed quickly and by day 3 were
speeding down big slopes such as the Bear Claw. Later that day we wnt to
a huge shopping outlet near Boston. The next day was new Year's Eve and
we were all looking forward to a wild party but that didn't happen
because Declan fergus wouldn't dance with the cheerleaders staying in
our hotel! For the next two days we had the mountain to ourselves
because everyone was at home for New Year's Day except the extreme
skiiers and snowboarders from The High School. On the last day we went
night-tubing also but it ended early because of some bad injuries from
crashing into the ice. We had a few hours to see the sights in Boston
and do some more shopping on our last day before we went back to Dublin.
We had an amazing trip overall and thanks to Mr Cryan and all the
teachers for arranging the trip.
