Entrance Exhibitions - Trinity College Dublin

Congratulations to Daniel Frazer, Karen Cadoo, Oliver Nash, Zoë Lipson, Eoin Curran, Elizabeth Hilliard and Eric Klotz who were awarded Entrance Exhibitions into Trinity College, Dublin on the basis of the excellence of their Leaving Certificate results. They are pictured here at the reception for Exhibition winners with the Assistant Principal in charge of their year, Mr R. McMullen. For a single school to obtain 7 exhibitions in one year is  exceptional.

Guys and Dolls

We predicted a spectacular performance by Form 5, but the end result was truly amazing! For two and a half hours, the attention of the audience never wavered from this scintillating show of drama, melodrama, rock 'n roll and choreographed dancing. The months of hard work by the cast, backstage team, props, lighting, costume, sound, music and publicity departments paid off in what could only be described as a highly professional show. Many staff helped in the production and our sincere thanks goes out to them, but especially to Ms Milne and Mr Wisener.

The student producer, Andrew Laughlin, and Ms Milne shouldered the burden of making sure it all came together on the night and everybody who enjoyed the show is very grateful to them for their energy and commitment. Well done all!!

Science winners!

Louise Watson, Becky Peare and Michelle McCartney are pictured above with Mr J. Hickey following their triumph in the Irish Science Teachers' Association/Bayer Dublin region science quiz. They achieved first place, beating 72 other teams and winning individual prizes of £50 as well as £400 for the school. They have decided to spend their prize money on providing a trophy cabinet for the school. Thank you and well done!
